Learn to be more caring towards yourself

To begin the journey of self-love, you should incorporate healthy routines into your everyday life. It is important to be consistent. From you, for you!

It all starts with a sensible sleep routine, which has a big impact on your physical and mental health. That's why you should make sure you get your six to eight hours of sleep every night so you can start the next day refreshed.

Another step is to do something to increase your physical activity. For example, you could include a 30-minute walk in your daily routine, or start your day with stretching or breathing exercises. 

In addition, nutrition is another important factor in daily care, so you could make your eating decisions more consciously when you go shopping and set a day of the week on which you roughly plan your meals for the next few days. It's the little things that can make a big difference!

Essentially, it's about creating a routine that works for you, that suits your needs and, most importantly, that you can be proud of. Try to congratulate yourself every night before you go to bed for what you've accomplished, be it in a day, a week or a month and see how your wellbeing improves. 

Learn positive beliefs through affirmations

One of the best ways to tame the little negative voices in our heads is to use affirmations in everyday life. Especially affirmations that you can just listen to. The gentle words of the narrator can have a hugely positive effect on our thoughts and over a certain period of time we get used to the positive beliefs. If you're wondering where exactly you can listen to something like that, then YouTube is the best option. There are plenty of videos like that there, but there are also many free apps that you can download.
